Publication Information[edit]

This book is the second printing of the book published in 1916 - see Page:1917 Dubliners by James Joyce.djvu/8. The Library of Congress lists the publication date as 1916. The book is a collection of short stories, some previously published. Wikisource "date" for a book is its date of publication, as far as I know. I'm inclined to leave the 1917 date in place for now, with notes about original publication dates where appropriate. --Outlier59 (talk) 00:51, 29 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Cover page[edit]

The cover page is Page:1917 Dubliners by James Joyce.djvu/1. Page:1917 Dubliners by James Joyce.djvu/7 is currently displaying at Dubliners. If anyone knows how to clean that up, it would be helpful. --Outlier59 (talk) 00:52, 29 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Page headers and footers[edit]

Most pages have no footer, but watch the first page of each new short story. That has a page number centered in the footer. The start of a new "chapter" (short story) should begin with a centered, larger, and all-CAP title preceded by FOUR blank lines. This should mimic the actual page layout.

Headers alternate between "DUBLINERS" and the chapter or short story title. Also, the page number is on the left or right. Correct the header as needed for new pages, including a page number EITHER to the left or right (but not both). --Outlier59 (talk) 00:53, 29 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]
