Sidenotes[edit]

These are being done using the sidenotes set of templates. The left hand runnning header is in the form: {{rh|14|XX|[{{sc|Chap. I.}}}}{{sidenotes begin}}{{left sidenote|1841}} and the right hand is in the form: {{rh|{{sc|Chap. I.}}]|XX|13}}{{sidenotes begin}}{{RL sidenote|1841}}

Use {{left sidenote}} and {{RL sidenote}} for the sidenotes in the body. This will mean that they all display on the same side in the Mainspace. The footer has been set to automatically fill in with {{sidenotes end}}.

Typographical notes[edit]

Times all have a.m. or p.m. attached to them. Do this as smallcaps. e.g. {{sc|a.m.}}.

All number ranges should have an unspaced en-dash between them.

Where a middle dot has been used in decimal numbers, change this to a full-stop (period).

Where latitude, longitude and other angular measurements are reported, use the correct symbols for minutes (′) and seconds (″). These are neither the straight nor curly quotation marks.

I'd like to add that °, the degree symbol, should be used and not º, the ordinal indicator. -Einstein95 (talk) 13:02, 28 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]
