Formatting notes - not yet guidelines

1. Page numbering starts at page 1 for Old Testament and again at page 1 for New Testament
2. Arrangement in paragraphs: verse numbers are placed at the beginning of lines, not at beginning of verses

"It will be at once seen that the old division of the books into chapters and verses has been abandoned in favour of the arrangement in paragraphs, the numbering of the chapters and verses being however retained for convenience of reference. Where the change of subject seemed to require a greater break than was marked by the beginning of a new paragraph, it has been indicated by a space before the paragraph." (Preface p. xii)

1. Numbered sidenotes: using small numbers for sidenotes and for verse numbers could be confusing
