When proofreading, please:

  • Do not join paragraphs in a single line. The lines are broken to match as closely as possible the printed page. This is not necessary, but makes proofreading and comparing versions much easier. If a line is broken at the wrong spot, you may fix it.
  • Keep curly quotes. It's the only way to distinguish between an apostrophe and an opening single quote, and to follow the nesting.
  • Do not mimic the line breaks in poetry. Most pieces of poetry in this book contain very long lines which are only broken because they don't fit in the page. Do not add hard breaks/indentantion to mimic this. Long lines should be broken by CSS at display time, if needed.

Numbering of front-matter pages (Roman numbers) should have started at the half-title, to be consistent with the 1001 Nights and with Vol. 3 Jellby (talk) 08:25, 17 November 2019 (UTC)Reply
