Note: Swift often writes poems and letters pretending that they are written by someone else. There are also a number of poems included here which are actually written by someone else. They are included because they are responses to poems written by Swift, or they are the object of Swift's response poems. Thus, when a poem is identified as being written by someone other than Swift, look to the surrounding poems for context before deciding who the author is.
