Accents[edit]
Accents on uppercase letters are often omitted by printers; they have to be restored. Missing accents on lowercase are flagged with {{SIC}}. --M-le-mot-dit (talk) 06:40, 5 July 2021 (UTC)
Spelling[edit]
No need to correct obsolete French spelling:
- plural of words finishing with -ant, -ent was -ans, -ens; e.g. enfant → enfans, événement → événemens;
- words ended by -ége with accute accent; now grave accent; e.g. siége, manége.
