Style Guidelines[edit]

I've been the only one working on this book, so I'm setting down the guidelines for anyone else who comes along to help:

  • Curly quotes default: The wikisource OCR renders quotes curly by default and I have been keeping them as I think they look better.
  • Letter signatures: The printed book, if the last line of the letter is short enough, puts Cromwell's signature against the right margin but slightly lower than the rest of the line, and if the last line is too long, puts the signature on a new line against the right margin. For consistency I have been using {{float right}} and then a {{clear}}, so regardless of screen width the signatures will render consistently (based on the rendered length of the last line of the letter). — Dcsohl (talk)
