Journal of the Straits Branch of the Royal Asiatic Society

The society was founded in Singapore in 1877 as the Straits Asiatic Society, before registering as an affiliate of the Royal Asiatic Society of Great Britain and Ireland. It was later renamed as the Malayan Branch and subsequently the Malaysian Branch of the Royal Asiatic Society, with the Journal's name changing accordingly.
