Local Government (Elections) (No. 2) Act 1896

BE it enacted by the Queen's most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Lords Spiritual and Temporal, and Commons, in this present Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
Qualification of parish councillors 1. Any person who is otherwise qualified for election, but who Qualification has entered into residence on or before the twenty-fifth day of March, one thousand eight hundred and ninety-five, shall be eligible for election at the parish council elections of the year one thousand eight hundred and ninety-six, notwithstanding that the period of residence is under one year, and if so elected shall be held to have been duly qualified.
Short title. 2. This Act may be cited as the Local Government (Elections) (No. 2) Act, 1896.
