Acworth, Nathaniel Brindley, registrar of supreme court of Madras 1844–6, J.P. Herts and Middlesex, a student of Lincoln's Inn 20 Nov., 1828 (aged 24), called to the bar 6 May, 1845 (3rd son of William Acworth, Esq., of Luton, Kent); born ⁠, 1805; married 17 Dec., 1846, Anna Diana, eldest dau. of late Very Rev. Francis Close, dean of Carlisle, and has issue.
