Coll., Camb., 1871, from Eton, a master of foxhounds, lord of the manor of Bawdripe, Somerset, J.P., goes the Western circuit, a student of the Inner Temple 15 Oct., 1869 (aged 21), called to the bar 18 Nov., 1872 (only son of Rev. William Jefferys Allen, late of Gatchell House, Somerset, dec.); born 24 Dec, 1847.
