Benson, William Denman, B.A. (honours) Balliol Coll., Oxon, a member of the South Wales and Chester circuit, a student of the Inner Temple 23 Nov., 1870 (then aged 21), called to the bar 6 June, 1874 (2nd son of George Henry Roxby Benson, of Fairy Hill, Swansea, Glamorgan); born , 1849; married 8 Aug., 1876, Jane, 2nd dau. of Thomas Penrice, Esq., of Kilvrough.
