Boyd, Hugh Fenwick, a member of the North-eastern circuit, scholar Brasenose Coll., Oxon, 1871, joint editor of third edition of Benjamin on Sales 1884 and of Factory Acts 1823-77, a student of the Inner Temple 9 April, 1877 (then aged 24), pupil scholarship in real property Feb., 1878, called to the bar 26 Jan., 1880 (3rd surviving son of Edward Fenwick Boyd, Esq., J.P., of Moor House, co. Durham); born 24 Dec., 1852 (see Foster's Our Noble and Gentle Families).
