Bromley, Edward, B.A. Merton Coll., Oxon, clerk of assize, on North-eastern circuit since 1876, on Northern circuit 1872–6, J.P. Middx., a student of the Inner Temple 11 Jan., 1858 (then aged 26), called to the bar 17 Nov., 1866 (ygst. son of Sir Robert Howe Bromley Bart., of Stoke Hall, Notts); born 1 March, 1831; married 21 Nov., 1868, Emma Georgina, 4th dau. of William Hanmer, Esq., of Bodnod, Flints (see Foster's Baronetage).
