Burne, Newdigate Hooper Kearney, lieut. Ottervale (Devon) mounted rifle volunteers (retired 1858), a student of Lincoln's Inn 29 Jan., 1857 (then aged 26), called to the bar 26 Jan., 1860 (3rd son of Rev. Henry Thomas Burne, of Bath); born 14 Nov., 1830; married 15 Sept., 1853, (Hon.) Caroline Penelope Addington, dau. of William, 2nd Viscount Sidmouth, and has issue (see Foster's Our Noble and Gentle Farnilies).
