Carter, George William Lee Plumptre, lord of the manors of Raymonds, Deane Court, Falconhurst, and Jaques Court, etc., undergrad. Oriel Coll., Oxon, a student of Lincoln's Inn 7 Nov., 1844, went to the Inner Temple 31 May, 1848, where he was called to the bar 9 June, 1848 (eldest son of Harry William Carter, Esq., of Kennington Hall, Kent); born July, 1823; married Jan., 1854, Augusta, only child of late Rev. Wyndham Knatchbull, D.D., and has issue (see Foster's Baronetage).
