Clifford, George Hugh Charles, matric London Univ. 1866 from Stonyhurst, a student of the Inner Temple 26 Sept., 1866 (then aged 19), called to the bar 10 June, 1870 (eldest son of Sir Charles Clifford, K.B., of Coldham Hall, Suffolk); born 10 Oct., 1847; married 7 April, 1880, Mary, eldest dau. of Sir John Lawson, Bart.; she died 30 Dec. same year (sec Foster's Peerage, B. Clifford).
