Gloucester, head master Hooghly Coll. 1868–9, a student of the Inner Temple 2 Nov., 1875 (aged 30), called to the bar 26 Jan., 1880 (3rd son of late Henry John Clifford, Esq., of Frampton-on-Severn, co. Gloucester); born 12 Jan., 1845; married 30 Dec., 1875, Gertrude, dau. of Edward Taylor Massy, Esq., of Cottesbrooke, co. Pembroke (see Foster's Peerage).
