Devon, assumed the additional surname of Cornish in 1873, a student of the Middle Temple 2 Nov., 1872, called to the bar 7 June, 1875 (elder son of James Bowden, Esq., of St. Germans Place, Kidbrooke, Kent); born 24 Dec., 1843; married , 1870, Esther Priscilla, younger dau. and co-heir of James Cornish, M.P., of Black Hall, Devon, and has issue.
