Dodd, John Theodore, M.A. Christ Church, Oxon, a member ot the North-eastern circuit, lecturer to Sheffield District Law Students' Society March, 1880, author of The Settled Land Act Explained, etc., a student of Lincoln's Inn 3 Nov., 1871 (then aged 23), called to the bar 6 June, 1874 (3rd son of Rev, Joseph Dodd, rector of Hampton Poyle, Oxon); born , 1848; married 2 June, 1881, Mary Louisa, dau. of late Rev. Henry Ashington, rector of Brouncewell and vicar of Alnwick, co. Linc.
