James Alexander Emerton, D.D., of Hanwell, Middlesex); born 7 Nov., 1843; married 21 June, 1882, Elizabeth Ellen, widow of Robert Bentley Shaw-Yates, Esq., only child of James Yates, Esq., of Oakwood Hall, Yorks, and has a dau. (see Foster's Our Noble and Gentle Families).
