Everitt, Francis William Everitt, Q.C., assumed the surname of Everitt in lieu of his patronymic Stiffe , , a student of Lincoln's Inn 6 April, 1853 (then aged 23), studentship May, 1854, called to the bar 6 June, 1855, Q.C. 18 Jan., 1882, bencher 26 Nov., 1884 (eldest son of William Stiffe, Esq., late of Swansea, now of Stuttgart, Wurtemburg); born , 1830; married 24 Aug., 1870, Melicent I., dau. of late J. Graham, of New Barnes.
