Fegen, Frederick James, R.N., C.B., naval counsel to H.R.H. Duke of Edinburgh, a member of the Western circuit, entered royal navy 1856, paymaster-in-chief R.N. since 1882, J.P. co. Tipperary, a student of Lincoln's Inn 5 Nov., 1866 (then aged 44), called to the bar 7 June, 1869 (3rd son of Richard Fegen, of Anglesey, Southants, late capt. R.N., dec.); born , 1822; died 1 Feb., 1885; married , 1848, Mary Rose Amelia, elder dau. and heir of late Magrath Fogarty, Esq., of Ballinlonty, co. Tipperary, and has issue.
