Ferrers, Rev. Norman Macleod, master of Gonville and Caius Coll., Camb., since 1880, B.A. (senior wrangler and first Smith's prizeman) 1851, M.A. 1854, sometime senior fellow and tutor, D.D. 1881, LL.D. Glasgow Univ. 1883, a student of Lincoln's Inn 16 April, 1852 (then aged 22), called to the bar 30 April, 1855 (only son of Thomas Bromfield Ferrers, Esq., late of London, dec.); born 11 Aug., 1829.
