Finnie, William, LL.B., Trin. Coll., Camb., 1852, M.P. North Ayrshire 1868-74, J.P., D.L. Ayrshire, a student of the Inner Temple 16 Nov., 1848 (then aged 21), called to the bar 26 Jan., 1853 (3rd son of late James Finnie, of Lower Tulse Hill, Surrey); born 6 Nov., 1827; married 17 March, 1853, Antoinette, youngest dau. of George Burnand, Esq., of Tewin Water, Herts (see Foster's Scots Members of Parliament).
