Fleming, Francis, attorney-general Ceylon since 1883, Crown solicitor Mauritius 1869, etc., district judge Jamaica 1876–8, attorney-general Barbados 1878–82, judge of British Guiana 1882–3, educated at Downside Coll., near Bath, a student of the Middle Temple 5 May, 1863, called to the bar 17 Nov., 1866 (eldest son of James Fleming, of the Middle Temple, Q.C.); born 31 July, 1842.
