Fowke, Sir Frederic Thomas, bart., constable Leicester Castle, hon. col. Leicestershire militia 1881-2, lt.-col. 1869-81, J.P., D.L. co. Leic., and late chairman quarter sessions, a student of the Middle Temple 9 Nov., 1838, called to the bar 28 Jan., 1842 (eldest son of late Sir Frederic Gustavus Fowke, of Lowesby Hall, co. Leic., Bart.); born 29 June, 1816; married 10 May, 1849, Sarah Mary, elder dau. and co-heir of late Henry Leigh Spencer, Esq., of Banstead Park, Surrey, and has issue (see Foster's Baronetage).
