Glossop, Francis Henry Newland, M.A., St. Peter's Coll., Camb., 1842, J.P., D.L. Middlesex, chairman of Brentford petty sessions since 1862, a student of Lincoln's Inn 7 Jan., 1838 (then aged 22), called to the bar 3 May, 1842 (eldest son of Rev. Henry Glossop, vicar of Isleworth); born 14 April, 1815; married 12 Feb., 1850, Ann Fish, dau. of Henry Pownall, Esq., of Spring Grove, Middlesex, and has issue.
