Greenwell, William John, B.A. New Coll., Oxon, a member of the North-eastern circuit, educated at Bruton Grammar School and Marlborough Coll., a student of the Inner Temple 18 Dec, 1867 (then aged 20), called to the bar 6 June, 1872 (eldest son of George Clementsen Greenwell, of Poynton, Cheshire); born 21 May, 1847; married 2 April, 1877, Mary, eldest dau. of Rev. Walker Featherstonhaugh, rector of Edmundbyers, co. Durham.
