Higgins, Joseph Napier, Q.C, B.A., Trin. Coll., Dublin, 1851, a student of Lincoln's Inn 17 April, 1848 (then aged 22), called to the bar 8 May, 1851, Q.C. 8 Feb., 1872, bencher 8 May, 1872 (3rd son of Joseph Higgins, Esq., of Glenpatrick, co. Waterford, and of Dublin); born , 1826; married 13 June, 1861, Sophia Elizabeth, youngest dau. and co-heir of Sir Thomas Tyringham Bernard of Winchendon Priory, Bucks, 6th and last bart.
