(late Hastings exhibitioner), Queen's Coll., Oxon, goes the North-eastern circuit, joint editor of Chitty's Equity Index to Reported Cases, fourth edition, a student of Lincoln's Inn 27 Jan., 1870 (then aged 21), called to the bar 17 Nov., 1874 (only son of Charles Hirst, of Morley, Yorks, M.D.); born 13 Jan., 1849.
