London Univ. 1865, B.A. 1861, and a member of Convocation, goes the Western circuit, a student of the Middle Temple 24 Jan., 1863, exhibition in jurisprudence, civil and international law, called to the bar 17 Nov., 1865 (only son of Thomas Henry Jarvis, of London, in the civil service); born 2 April, 1843; married 10 March, 1870, Emily Frances Smythe, 2nd dau. of John Frederick Reeves, of London, solicitor.
