Karslake, William Wollaston, Q.C., junior equity counsel to woods and forests inland revenue and office of works 1860–81, equity examiner to Inns of Court 1882, educated at Harrow, a student of Lincoln's Inn 23 May, 1854 (then aged 19), called to the bar 30 April, 1857, Q.C. 25 April, 1881, bencher 19 May, 1884 (eldest son of Rev. William Heberden Karslake, of Meshaw, Devon); born 10 June, 1834; married 6 April, 1867, Madeline, widow of Robert Dalglish Grant, Esq., 2nd dau. of William Rutter Bayley, Esq., of Cotford House, Devon.
