Kerr, Russell James, chairman of second court of quarter sessions Gloucester 1878, chairman of Newnham-on-Severn Local Board of Health, J.P. Gloucestershire, a student of Lincoln's Inn 30 April, 1856 (then aged 23), called to the bar 26 Jan., 1859 (2nd son of William Charles Kerr, of Northampton, M.D.); born 4 Sept., 1832; married 4 Sept., 1860, Rosa Mary Anne, eldest dau. of George Richard Griffiths, of Castlehill, Englefield Green, Surrey, and has issue (see Foster's Peerage, M. Lothian).
