Kirby, Thomas Frederick, bursar of Winchester Coll. since 1862, secretary for Hants of the Society of Antiquaries, M.A. Trin. Coll., Camb., fellow 1861, assistant tutor 1861–4, an Etonian, a student of Lincoln's Inn 27 Jan., 1862 (then aged 25), called to the bar 26 Jan., 1866 (eldest son of Thomas Kirby, of Inhurst House, Hants, commander R.N.); born 3 Sept., 1836; married 15 Oct., 1865, Helen, dau. of Walter John Hunter, Esq., of Baughurst House, Hants.
