Law, Edmund Christian, M.A. Brasenose Coll., Oxon, late principal surrogate Lichfield, a student of the Inner Temple 16 Jan., 1851 (then aged 22), called to the bar 26 Jan., 1856 (youngest son of late James Thomas Law, chancellor of the diocese of Lichfield); born 25 Feb., 1828; married 2 May, 1872, Emily Mary Scott, 2nd dau. of Lt.-Col. Cotgrave, late Bombay horse artillery, and has issue (see Foster's Our Noble and Gentle Families).
