London Univ. 1866, B.A. 1861, and a member of Convocation, on the commission of the lieutenancy for London, a student of the Middle Temple 11 Nov., 1864, called to the bar 11 June, 1867 (5th son of late William Lawrence, alderman of London); born 2 Feb., 1837; married 11 June, 1874, Edith Jane, younger dau. and co-heir of late John Benjamin Smith, Esq., of King's Ride, Ascot, Berks, M.P. (see Foster's Baronetage).
