Leith, John Farley, Q.C, M.A. Marischal Coll. and Univ. Aberdeen, M.P. Aberdeen 1872-80, practised before the High Court at Calcutta, a student of the Middle Temple 18 June, 1825, called to the bar 25 June, 1830, Q.C. 1 Nov., 1872, bencher 7 May, 1874 (eldest son of James Urquhart Murray Leith, Esq., of Barrach, co. Aberdeen, dec.); born 5 May, 1808; married 1 June, 1832, Alicia Anne, dau. of late Samuel Tomkins, Esq., of London; she died , , leaving issue.
