Lewis, Arthur Griffith Poyer, M.A. Univ. Coll., Oxon, from Eton, a member of the South Wales circuit, registrar diocese of Llandaff Jan., 1885, official to archdeacon of St. David's since Jan., 1874, J.P. cos. Carmarthen and Pembroke, a student of Lincoln's Inn 30 Jan., 1869 (then aged 20), called to the bar 17 Nov., 1873 (only son of Rt. Rev. Richard Lewis, D.D., bishop of Llandaff); born 29 Feb., 1848; married 14 Aug., 1877, Annie Wilhelmine, 2nd dau. of James Ellison, M.D., surgeon to H.M.'s household Windsor.
