Ludlow, John Malcolm Forbes, chief registrar of friendly societies since 1875, a student of Lincoln's Inn 10 Nov., 1838 (then aged 17), called to the bar 22 Nov., 1843 (only son of late Lt.-Col. John Ludlow, C.B., of the Bengal army); born 8 March, 1821; married 20 Nov., 1869, Maria S., dau. of Mr. G. Forbes.
