Macaulay, Henry Denman, a member of the North-eastern circuit, capt. 1st Warwick militia 1874-81 and formerly a lieutenant in the fleet, a student of the Inner Temple 22 April, 1871 (then aged 27), called to the bar 26 Jan., 1874 (eldest son of late Henry William Macaulay, judge of mixed commission West Coast of Africa); born 10 Aug., 1843; married 18 Feb., 1868, Selina, dau. of Sir Joseph Needham, chief justice of Trinidad, and has issue (see Foster's Peerage, B. Denman).
