Mackarness, Frederic Michael Coleridge, practises before the supreme court of Cape of Good Hope, undergrad. Keble Coll., Oxon, a student of the Middle Temple 26 June, 1875, called to the bar 25 June, 1879 (2nd son of Rt. Rev. John Frederic Mackarness, D.D., lord bishop of Oxford); born 31 Aug., 1854; married 11 Feb., 1882, Amy, dau. of late Rev. Richard Chermside, rector of Wilton, Wilts (see Foster's Peerage).
