Macrae, Charles Colin, B.A. Univ. Coll., Oxon, a member of the South-eastern circuit, practised before the High Court at Calcutta, author of The Indian Contract Act of 1872, a student of Lincoln's Inn 13 Jan., 1864 (then aged 20), called to the bar 30 April, 1868 (only son of Alexander Macrae, of Calcutta, M.D.); born , 1844.
