Malden, Charles Edward, M.A., Trin. Coll., Camb., 1872, a revising barrister on South-eastern circuit since Aug., 1884, author of A Digest of the Practice of the Queen's Bench Division April, 1884, a reporter for Law Times in House of Lords, a student of the Inner Temple 11 Jan., 1867 (then aged 22), called to the bar 17 Nov., 1870 (eldest son of Henry Malden, professor in Univ. Coll., London); born 2 Jan., 1845; married 8 Feb., 1877, Sarah Fanny, 2nd dau. of late Sir Richard Mayne, K.C.B., bar.-at-law, chief commissioner of metropolitan police, and has issue.
