Herts, author of Elementary Digest of the Law of Contracts and of The Law of Property in Land, a student of the Middle Temple 16 Nov., 1848, called to the bar 26 Jan., 1853 (eldest son of Stephen Ralph Martin-Leake, Esq., of H.M.'s treasury, and of Thorpe Hall, Essex); born 19 March, 1826; married 24 Sept., 1859, Isabel, dau. of late William Plunkett, Esq., of Lincoln's Inn, bar.-at-law, and has issue.
