Murray, George Sholto Douglas, M.A. Christ Church, Oxon, assistant charity commissioner since 1880, private secretary to parliamentary secretary (Mr. Salt) and to Local Government Board 1878-9, a student of Lincoln's Inn 6 May, 1870 (then aged 25), called to the bar 17 Nov., 1875 (eldest son of Rev. George William Murray, vicar of Bromsgrove, co. Worc.); born , 1845.
