Coll., London, 1882-3, author of Essays in Jurisprudence and Ethics, Principles of Contract, Digest of Law of Partnership, Spinoza, his Life and Philosophy, editor of The Law Quarterly Review, a student of Lincoln's Inn 9 Jan., 1868 (then aged 22), called to the bar 1 May, 1871 (eldest son of Sir William Frederick Pollock, Bart., of the Inner Temple, Queen's remembrancer); born 10 Dec., 1845; married 13 Aug., 1873, Georgina Harriet, youngest dau. of late John Deffell, of Calcutta, merchant, and has issue (see Foster's Baronetage).
