Reid, Robert Threshie, Q.C., M.P. Hereford since 1880, B.A., Balliol Coll., Oxon, 1869, from Cheltenham Coll., a member of the Oxford circuit, a student of the Inner Temple 15 April, 1868 (then aged 22), called to the bar 6 June, 1871, Q.C. 16 Dec., 1882 (2nd son of Sir James Reid, of Mouswald Place, co. Dumfries); born 3 April, 1846; married , 1871, Emily Douglas, dau. of Capt. Arthur Cecil Fleming (late 1st dragoon guards).
