Russell, Charles Barrett, recorder of South Molton 1885, a member of the Western circuit, a revising barrister, admiralty counsel at Portsmouth, counsel to the Mint at Winchester, a student of Lincoln's Inn 11 April, 1848 (then aged 25), called to the bar 24 April, 1851 (eldest son of late Charles Reid Russell, of Cherington Lodge, Hants, major 11th hussars); born , 1823; married 6 Aug., 1857, Caroline, youngest dau. of Rev. Henry Hubbard, rector of Cheriton.
