Russell, Francis, M.A., Trin. Coll., Camb., 1842, from Charterhouse, recorder of Tenterden since 1859, clerk of the peace for Kent since 1865, author of A Treatise on Arbitrations and Awards, a member of the Southeastern circuit, a student of the Inner Temple 17 April, 1838 (then aged 22), called to the bar 30 April, 1841 (eldest son of Rev. John Russell, D.D., rector of St. Botolph, Bishopsgate, London); born , 1816; married 29 Aug., 1850, Jessy Anne, 2nd dau. of Lt.-Col. John Keightley, of Picchill Hall, co. Denbigh, late 35th foot.
